Moses is a Trauma Therapist and Educator empowering individuals, families, and communities with the truth

TRAUMA THERAPIST AND EDUCATOR

I was taken from my homeland when I was 2 years old. I was born in South Korea, but grew up in America. It wasn’t until well into my adulthood that I learned I am a victim of a global child supply market. I learned that I am not alone. Over 200,000 Korean children have been trafficked around the world and millions more children come from other countries. Men and women, mothers and fathers are groomed from childhood, targeted, recruited, and brainwashed by the human trafficking industry every year. They are victimized, dehumanized and exploited for their eggs, sperm, bodies and children who are commodified for profit. I’ve been wondering what happened with my mother, if I have a family back in South Korea, and how I came to have Cerebral Palsy.

As a family therapist, Moses uses his experience of 20+ years to provide trainings to educate his clients, their families, and the greater society about the truth of the industry. He embodies many intersections from personal experience as well as the knowledge, awareness and professional skills to guide his clients towards self-awareness and self-empowerment. He developed the Lifecycle of Adoption Trafficking as well as the Adoption Trauma Factsheets. At this point, he is leading several new initiatives to support keeping families together, family restoration, and to criminalize the industry to stop further victimization. Moses speaks up for Tam, Thaddeus, and Lark who he grew up with to honor their memory and their truths. There is ongoing public debate about the nature of their deaths, which Moses has remained steadfast in saying they died by suicide. He continues to expose the truth to stop the crimes and save lives.
